"Thanks." She told the other Cheetah. Her tail tip stil flickering, as did her ears to every noise that played through-out the place. Her eyes scanned over everything, for she was careful where ever she was at. She wasn't careful in a paraniod way, but just careful in a safe way.

Nikita nodded to the female cheetah to signal that she heard. She glanced at the other cheetah who had remained silent then flicked her orbs back onto the other one. The scent of the kill washed over the lands and made it feel slightly more unclean but that didn't really bother Nikita, nothing really did anymore.
"Do you know if there are any nearby herds?" She asked the cheetah that ahd just amde the kill. Nikita wanted to know that if she stayed here for a while there was more filling prey for her to consume.
She waited patiently for her to respond, tail lying limp by her fram, ears alert and attentive. She noticed that flies and other insects were hovering by the recently hunted carcass now, scavenging. This mildly annoyed her as she hated scavengers, it was scavengers that fed upon the corpse of the ex-mate, she knew it was nature but she still hated it.

Akila had eaten her fill, but there was still a lot of the deer left. She had seen Nikita move toward the fresh kill when it was brought. The old medicine cheetah decided to give the carcass to them. She answered the question, even though it wasn't directed to her.
"Yes, the herds are grazing nearby, just behind that small hill. But you don't need to hunt, you can have my food as I am already full."

Crystal opened her massive bone shatteribng jaws to speak, but Akila has spoken for her. So they once more close, her tail tip ceased movement. She got up, and her powerful paws lead her towards the source of water. She lapped up some more of the water, then turned back to the others. She truly wasn't all that hungry, and as her hunger did grow, and mount into a warning system of its need to be fed, she'd set out and hunt again. True, nobody ever caught every meal they tried after, but she had confidence in her skills, and if at first she didn't kill the beast she was after, she try again as soon as she reached more prey items. She was not beyond hunting rabbits, and thus she usually wasn't kept too hungry very long, unless prey items of all kind became scarce.

Nikita looked at the Cheetah and smiled.
"Why thankyou, but I am not particulary hungry right now." She replied, her tone kind, unlike her mood.
"So there is food near here, that is good news, I am just wondering as I am hoping to stay here a while and I need prey whilst I am here." She added in reponse to the Cheetah's answer.
((OOC: Sorry it is short, muse has gone...))

"Well, If you are going to stay here, perhaps you could join one of the groups that reside here. There are three of them actually; one in the Lily Field territory, one in the Dry Riverbed and the last one on Sandstone Cliff. I've heard the leaders there are very kind and welcome all new members." she told to both of them. Joining a group would be a wise idea, as hunting would be easier, dangerous predators stayed away and when help was needed, you could always turn to other members. The only reason Akila didn't belong into a group was because she liked to be on her own.

"Maybe, thanks for the advice." Crystal told Akila. She sat there, feeling the wind run through her pelt. Her ears listened to the wildlife around her, and she thought about the world. What wonders were cloaked for her eyes not to view, while she was here, yet this was the perfect place tolive, as far as she knew not wanting to venture out to check. Not...just yet..anyways.
OOC: REAALLLYYY sorry for being gone so long.

OOC: Nikita hasn't been on for ages, so we might as well continue without her.
IC: Akila licked her lips, the sweet taste of meat still on them. She slowly stretched herself out before laying down again and starting to purr. Life at the Savannah was so pleasant; plenty of food and other cheetahs and very few predators. And most cheetahs that resided here were friendly and nice, not like the wandering lions and hyenas that sometimes stumbled upon this place. If only the Medicine cheetah had gotten here before, she would have been able to enjoy this unique cheetah heaven for a longer time. Even though she was old, Crystal was still young and could live a life of luxury for times to come.
