Another Lazy Day :AW:

La'jimei squinted as the wind carried sand through the dry air. It was very lonely up here, almost seeming as though never touched. There was no fresh scent, barely even a trace. She stepped towards the cliff and looked down the deep, dry, steep, nothing but sand. Her furry ears flicked, trying to shake the moistureless sand out.

She tuned the other way and let off on the boarder of the cliff. She was going nowhere in the world right now. La'jimei soo hit a calming, windless, spot now she was able to shake all the grains of sand out of her fur without it just blowing back. She cleared the spot and lay down hot, and bored.

Chipo was lost without his sister, and he knew it. Kam was older wiser much more mature and cared for both's survival. And she hunted and protected him, she was like his mother, only much younger. Chipo knew for sure that if she wandered away from her he would surely die, for he still did not know how to hunt or protect himself, and yet, he had done that exact thing while Kam had gone hunting. Why? He had become bored. His plans had been much different, walk around and return to the place her sis had left him, easy huh? Nop, he had gotten lost, and now he was anywhere but near the spot his sis would go looking for him. All because of a bug. Chipo walked aimlessly now for he had no idea were he was or how to get to the place he wanted to be. Chipo was like that, an immature hyperactive cub. The small cub’s head shook trying to shake the sand away only to be coverd once more in a layer of savannah dust. But then he caught sight of a cheetah, his ears pricked and, once more regaining his energy trotted towards the she cheetah. His head tilted sideways when he finnaly reached her. “Hi! I’m Chipo who are you?!” He said exitedly, his small ears pricked up and his tail swishing back exitedly, waiting for this cheetah’s response to his sudden appearance.

She was about to close her eyes and sleep, but that scent came to her, another one. She did not at all mind if they were there, but some how she did not want to be noticed. She tried not realize that the other one was there, but she had to do something, especially once the other one began to talk to her. The sound pierced the sound of the wind's blow, with the words:Hi! I’m Chipo who are you?!.

She turned finding a male cheetah standing at her side. She looked up at him for some reason, he reminded her of her beloved brother, Klein. She tried to ignore that realization. Slightly leaving that unsocial personality she spoke only and few words, but in a laized way, slightly a sad-ish tone. "I am La'jimei." She spoke plain, and put out.

Chipo wasn’t expecting such a lazy and sad tone, and he stood immovible for a second, trying to find a reason for this, in his opinion, unnatural behavior. But of course, he knew nothing about this cheetah so he couldn’t really expect to know why was she so sad. So he decided to find out anyways “What’s wrong with you? Why are you so sad?” He said curiously. He laid down in front of f the cheetah, his eyes looking straight into hers, curious to know what will the cheetah say. Chipo was such a cute cub sometimes, his energy usually bringing other cheetahs into a happier mood. Maybe it was just his friendly and curious disposition. So Chipo continued to look into the cheetah, his eyes not leaving hers but his body moving, not able to stay still. Wondering what would the cheetah say.

La'jimei, gained back the part of her mind that had wandered away, and replied to the other one with a "Nothing's wrong." She lifted herself to her feet, then feeling the wind has disappeared. Well, not disappeared, but calmer. The grains of loose sand were no long buffeting. Although the area was not still, as the wind still blew and whisped around. She squinted at the heat-waving distance... Nothing at all. It gave a little depressing feeling to the area, but it was not much to show in her face. La'jimei had to understand it was the dry season, all smart living things hide in the brush and weeds trying to keep cool.

She then looked at the other cheetah, and said, with an inproved attitude, "So, were are you going?". She needed somewhere to go, she was wandering aimlessly, at the time.

Curious eyes examined the cheetah in front. She seemed depressed and thought full. Eyes following every move she made, body staying immovable except for his tail that swung back and forth behind him, head tilted sideways. Her words reached his audits and he gave a step closer to her. “Yes there is” He said softly, looking straight into her eyes. Chipo looked around; there was nothing, or no one near. They were alone, and that mere though was enough to depress some cheetahs. Chipo pushed these sad thoughts away and looked at the she cheetah once more, his eyes again sparkling with life and happiness, sensing her different mood. A much better one if he could opine. “I’m not going anywhere... Well, I wanna go with my sis, but I dunno where she is so I can’t, so I was just walking around.” He said, looking up at the cheetah. Waiting for her reaction.

{Sorry for my absence, I'm low on muse.}

Well it seemed to be such a boring day for everyone... Aimless wandering, it was actually the most useful thing they could do at the time. La'jimei answered Chico with "Eh... I don't know where any of my family is, except my brother... Well at least I think I know where my brother is, somewhere far from here. Last time I saw him, was in an oasis, out there in the savanna."

The wind blew by and a dust cloud picked up off the ground and blew off the cliff. There was nothing here to catch any wind, no trees or plants, big rocks and less likely than any of them is to be a hill. A few more dust clouds had been picked up and blown over the cliff, one came and lightly buffeted La'jimei. She trailed off into the open and gave a simple nod of her head, a gesture to Chico, to come if he wanted to go.

Little head tilted sideways as he listened at the other cheetah’s words as se spoke about the location of her brother, and he replied excitedly. “You have a brother?! That’s great! I have a sis, but I don’t know where she is anymore!!” He said, a carefree cub. Right now he was ok, but his little stomach began feeling hungry, it was time for dinner, and that’s why Kam had gone away, prolem was, where was she nw? Chipo didn’t now, and until know he was beginning to feel he missed her, now that his stomach told him so. The wind picked up dust and it hit Chipo, who stumbled a little before noticing La’jimei’s sign to follow her. So the energetic pup bounded after her, quite much like was used to do in his energetic cub ways. Soon he had catched up with her, his eyes looking inquiringly at the older cheetah wondering what were her plans, but following her nevertheless, his little eyes sparkling with innocent life, his ears perked forward in case she decided to say something, but before he could wait he was speaking. “Where are we going La’jimei?” He said, curious.

La'jimei turned her head at the younger voice of the other cheetah, and listened to his short speech. She wasn't surprised most cheetahs are born with siblings, but never leave too early. She left early from her mother, first of all she just didn't want to stay a baby, and it was true she learned to fend for herself these days. Her mother taught her nothing about hunting, she was forced to self teach. Yet want choice did she have, her mom died La'jimei and her brother died. So she followed the lead of Klein and just leaving.
She looked back to the other one trying to figure something to do, then an idea pooped into mind, but was it safe. She grinned a little, in a devious way, then sauntered towards the large cliff. Peering over the gorge she spotted a carved path asending relief, in the stone wall. Once again she looked back towards Chipo "You know if this is safe?" La'jimei asked.

Ic: Relatively big paws impulsed his lithe cheetah body into yet another bounce, his tail swinging being him as his rather long legs carried him forward in a bounding way towards the cheetah, La’jimei, whom he was following. He was used to follow, yes. At first, as a tiny cub, he had followed his mother everywhere, constantly annoying her. It hadn’t been to long, though, for she had died and he had been left to follow his older brother along with his sister, but then, he too had died, and he now followed Kam, his sister. It had been a rather harsh life for such a young cub, but he didn’t realize that, and while the memory of his brother was something that managed to calm him down and make him sad, he didn’t think about that often, so very rarely did he think about his past.
Following the larger cheetah to the edge of a cliff he stopped at a dangerous distance from the edge, his small head reaching out to see what lay below the cliff. Then he looked back at La’jimei, hearing her words as she asked him something. Peering over the edge again he looked at her once more. “Yeah, of course it is.” He said, confident on his answer. For him here was no danger or anything that would stop him from having fun. He smiled and spoke again. “What are you planning to do?” He said, curious and eager to know.
